Derry / Londonderry Northern Ireland Quick and Dirty review

Derry is one of the oldest continuously inhabited places in Ireland. It boasts the only remaining completely intact walled city in Ireland. The Walls were built 1613–1619 as defense for early 17th century settlers from England and Scotland.
To walk the entire Wall is a distance of approximately one mile (1.5 kilometers). The Wall varies in height and width between 12 to 35 feet (3.7 to 10.7 meters).
The four original gates are Bishop's Gate, Ferryquay Gate, Butcher Gate, and Shipquay Gate. The Magazine Gate, Castle Gate, and New Gate were added later making a total of seven gates.
It is one of the few cities in Europe that never saw its fortifications breached. It withstood several sieges, including the famous Siege of Derry in 1689 which lasted 105 days.

Mystery Poke Slabs unbox & review

I thought I had cancelled the Mystery Poke Slab subscription, but I must have been a little late. There is a net loss on this subscription. You pay $65 (marked down from $75). The first box I received had a $30 value card and this one was a $40 value card. If the value was at least at a break even price, I might continue. At this point I would just be gambling each month that I would get one of the lucky gold boxes.
Even if you're a hard core Pokemon collector, you would do much better buying the graded card you want online. With this subscription service you are hoping it is a good value and more importantly, that it is a Pokemon you want. My suggestion is to steer clear of this service.

Arby’s Diablo Dare Smoked Brisket Sandwich

It seems like all the fast food companies are adding a "spicy" option to their menu. Arby's added a challenge to their spicy menu, the Diablo Dare. Starting January 18, 2023 anyone who has taken the challenge is encouraged to use the #ArbysDiabloDare hashtag on TikTok to talk about their experience and how long it took them to down the sandwich.
Arby's believes they have the spiciest sandwich on the market. The sandwich has five sources of spice, including a layer of ghost pepper jack cheese, fiery hot seasoning, fire-roasted jalapenos, a special BBQ sauce and it's all placed in between a red chipotle bun. Customers can choose a crispy chicken patty or smoked brisket for the protein, I chose smoked brisket. They even include a 12-ounce vanilla milkshake for free to cool your mouth down between bites.
"This is not a sandwich for the faint of heart," said Patrick Schwing, chief marketing officer of Arby's, in a release. "Everyone in the quick service restaurant industry says they have a spicy option, but our research tells us that consumers are disappointed by fast food claims of spicy."

Portrush Northern Ireland Quick and Dirty review

Jumped on a train from Belfast to Portrush, Northern Ireland. Portrush is a seaside resort town and I was there during the off-season. I kinda equate it with Jersey Shore or Coney Island. Since it was the off-season there was no wait to see anything, downside is there wasn't really much going on to go see.
This video is a quick highlight of the thing I saw and did in Belfast. Portrush is home to the Royal Portrush Golf Club, the only golf club outside Great Britain which has hosted The Open Championship in 1951 and 2019.

Burger King Ghost Pepper Whopper quick and dirty review

The ghost pepper, also known as bhut jolokia is an interspecific hybrid chili pepper cultivated in Northeast India. In 2007, Guinness World Records certified that the ghost pepper was the world's hottest chili pepper, 170 times hotter than Tabasco sauce. The ghost chili is rated at more than one million Scoville Heat Units (SHUs). However, in the race to grow the hottest chili pepper, the ghost chili was superseded by the Trinidad Scorpion Butch T pepper in 2011 and the Carolina Reaper in 2013. Needless to say, Ghost Peppers are HOT! When I found out Burger King was making a special Ghost Pepper Whopper, I had to try it.

McDonald’s McRib quick and dirty review

The McDonald's McRib wasn't a huge hit when it was first introduced. That might be because it came on a normal bun and the BBQ sauce was in a packet like their ketchup. They did a little revamp to make it what it is today. Now they bring the McRib back every once in a while, usually in the fall, to great fanfare. When the McRib is announced as being back on the menu, tons of people flock to McDonald's to get their fix.
